Perfectly convenient, comfortable, and peaceful, welcome to Aracari Square! Not even a 5 minute walk from the entrance of Dominicalito beach, Aracari Square will welcome you into nature.
You are currently looking at our apartment named Acacia. A double bedroom apartment outfitted with 2 queen sized beds, private bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, lounge space and a high table perfect for eating or working. The apartment sleeps 4 people.
Guest Access
Aracari Square consists of three apartments and sleeps a maximum of 10 guests. Guests have full access to the Aracari Square grounds which consist of a lush garden and a pool. If you don’t want to sit by the pool, you can also enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine from the large shared sun deck that overlooks the garden and its jungle mountain backdrop. You are likely to see hummingbirds, toucans, and of course monkeys that love to visit throughout the day.
All guests have access to free parking and the gates are closed in the evening.
Interaction With Guests
We have an onsite coordinator who will be happy to help you throughout your stay with any questions and assistance you might need. (English and Spanish). We can help you plan your adventures like paragliding, rafting, zipline, surfing, ATV, horseback riding to waterfalls and more.
Neighborhood Description
Across the road of Aracari Square you will find playa Dominicalito. A small and peaceful beach, which you are often likely to have practically to yourself. It is noted as one of the most picturesque beaches in the area due to the cove created by the peninsula of land that extends into the ocean. It is excellent for swimming, but also loved by surfers both beginners and advanced alike.
Dominical is just 1.5 miles, or a 4 minute drive north, and is known for its world-renowned surf break and those seeking an authentic Costa Rican experience. Even though Dominical is very small you will likely find everything you need, from supermarket, pharmacy, ATM to delicious and diverse restaurants, yoga studios, local vendors and several places for a nice coffee.
Uvita is 10 miles, or a 15 minute drive south, the last few years it has grown into a larger commercial center with banks, international schools, large supermarkets, coffee shops and more. It also serves as the base for visits to Marino Ballena National Park, a pristine marine reserve famous for its migrating pods of humpback whales.

Beyond Our Expectations

Stunningly Beautiful
This is probably the nicest vacation rental we have been in. The building is beautiful, the appointments comfortable, and the grounds are meticulously kept by Wilbur the caretaker - who was a special part of our stay. We walked across the highway many times to visit Dominicalito beach which I found rarely populated, stunningly beautiful, and without the rip currents found at others. Jeff and his family who own the space were unbelievably responsive to any of our needs and we were grateful to listen to their story of how they arrived in Costa Rica and built the place, their meditation/yoga retreat center nearby, and home. Without a doubt we would stay again whenever we return.
Fantastic Hosts
This is a brand new, sparkling clean, fully functional cozy apartment. It is walking distance to Dominicalito beach and waterfall Pozo Azul, and a short drive to many local attractions. The hosts are fantastic and were very helpful in making our stay enjoyable.
A Solid 10/10
A solid 10/10, can't wait to be back! We loved our stay here so much than instead of moving on to our next destination we actually decided to add an extra night here and then another one. The apartment was super nice and cozy and had everything we need. Niko and Nicola (the on-site coordinator) were terrific hosts, they were super nice, caring and responsive. Location was great, in Dominicalito but super closed to Dominical, more secluded and peaceful, and just a very short walk from the beach. Will definitely reach back to Niko whenever I'm in the area. 10/10 would recommend!
